Terms of Service

Effective 28 September 2026 · YPT — Your Personal Trainer

Česká verze

In short: YPT is a training log and an AI coach. Logging your workouts is free; the AI coach is a subscription. YPT is not a healthcare service and the AI coach is not a doctor or a physiotherapist — you train at your own risk. The subscription renews automatically and is cancelled in the App Store or Google Play, not with us.

Who operates the app

Ing. Miloš Pelikán, Company ID (IČO) 01248979, registered at Štěpařská 1131/12, 152 00 Prague 5, Czech Republic. Contact: support@yptlogapp.com.

What the app is for

YPT is a training log and an AI assistant that suggests workouts based on your history and profile. By using the app you agree to these terms.

Health and responsibility

YPT is not a healthcare provider. The workouts the app suggests — whether from the AI coach or anyone else — are not medical advice, a diagnosis or treatment and do not replace consulting a doctor, a physiotherapist or a qualified coach.

Strength training carries a risk of injury. You train at your own risk. Before starting a new training programme, especially if you have health problems, are recovering from an injury or surgery, are pregnant or are taking medication, consult a doctor.

The AI coach takes into account the injuries and restrictions you enter into your profile, but we do not guarantee that a suggested workout is safe for you. The AI can be wrong. If an exercise does not make sense to you, or something hurts, do not do it.

If you feel chest pain, dizziness, shortness of breath or anything unusual while training, stop immediately and seek medical help.

Refunds

App Store: only Apple issues refunds, under its own rules. We have no access to the payment and cannot refund it — you apply to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Google Play: you can ask Google for a refund under its rules, or write to us at support@yptlogapp.com — for a purchase made through Google Play, we can refund the payment too.

This does not affect your consumer rights under Czech and European law. You exercise the 14-day right of withdrawal with the store you paid through — Apple or Google is the seller. How to do it, and whether and when it ends for digital content, is set out in that store's terms for EU consumers.

How to use the app

You must not:

Your data

What you put into the app stays yours. You only grant us the right to process your data to the extent necessary to operate the service. The details are in the Privacy Policy.

Availability

We do our best to keep the app running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The service may be unavailable due to maintenance, a provider outage, or reasons outside our control. The AI coach depends on a third-party service and its outage shows up here too.

We recommend that your training history is not the only place your data exists — the phone app can log without a connection and sync later, but keep a backup of your own.

Limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profit or loss of data. We are not liable for injuries sustained while training — see the Health and responsibility section.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited — in particular for harm to health caused intentionally or by gross negligence, nor your statutory consumer rights.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may restrict or close an account if you materially breach these terms.

For a subscription paid through Google Play, we will in that case refund the proportionate part of the unused period. We cannot do that for the App Store: only Apple issues refunds (see Refunds), and you have to cancel the subscription yourself in your App Store settings.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We will announce substantial changes in the app or by email. If you disagree with a change, stop using the app and delete your account.

Governing law

This relationship is governed by the law of the Czech Republic and disputes are heard by Czech courts. As a consumer you may turn to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce) as the out-of-court dispute resolution body.
